Cincinnati Zoo
In honor of the staycation (actually we're saving for a White Elephant next year), we spent Thursday at the Cincinnati Zoo, the #4 zoo in the world! Ok, we spent that last four hours of Thursday......we have trouble getting out of the house. So we took the kids to the Cincy Zoo as this was our one week vacation for 2008 w/Joey. It was 95 degrees with tons of humidity, and we rushed through the zoo to get it done in 4 hours. But we didn't really notice the heat or humidity. The stench was overwhelming at times because of it tho! LOL Joey really enjoyed it and Maria suffered through it well enough :-) Harold and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Great family trip. ahhhhh.....the child human in natural state, unable to eat frozen treat fast enough before the heat ruins it and whining therein....behold.....the majestic stickiness of it all.
